Thank you for your reply and help.  I returned to Border and tried to access Wells Fargo online banking, with my username and correct password.  However, I just get repeated pages request for the username and password again, sometimes with a Captcha to consummate.  I tried several times without success, only I'm perfectly happy with my electric current power to use Google Chrome, which I've done several times successfully today, and I'1000 able to access the business relationship on my mobile telephone, using the same username and countersign; none of this was possible for quite some time, and I don't desire to risk having the bank append my online service because of multiple failed attempts.  This happened a few times, and I take spent far too many hours on it;  I depend on online cyberbanking in my business and personal life, and make multiple transactions daily,  The power to transfer funds among accounts, pay bills, and deposit checks on my mobile phone is a real time-saver.  I only don't want to risk fouling up something that I tin can work well past using a unlike system.  Probably the Edge format will be refined and improved over time, and I might eventually try again.

Thanks very much for your response and suggestions.  In trying to make Border workable for my online cyberbanking utilize, I tried several methods, including resetting, updating, irresolute username and password, and other things.  I used the 800 number for Wells Fargo many times; their staffers could eventually connect me through a dissimilar system, which I'm at present using.  I don't want to tamper with it any more than until there are some repairs and improvements with Edge, because it's been a nightmare of wasted time, and I've sometimes been unable to pay bills that were due, or deposit checks that were received, and I tin do all of this now, using a unlike blazon of system.  I take a "knee wiggle reaction" to Edge; it worked fine for me for quite a while, and then suddenly was just not usable for my most important needs.

You gave a superbly detailed respond. My problem is at the end of November my browser was converted to Border without my permission and  since then I am unable to use my online banking.  Some while ago I was asked if I wanted Edge and said No but this tome it seems to have been done as office of a Microsoft update without my noesis. But when a depository financial institution tech guy said cheque which browser did I find out. I am really annoyed !

It seems my banking concern tries to adjust to Microsoft updates considering the initial problem was eventually resolved but I accept noticed that after some subsequent updates there was once more a trouble getting into online banking.  Not after every update but sometimes. It is ridiculous to say the bank must adjust when they have to scramble after the issue of frequent updates and the consumer is left in the acting unable to gain access. I am lucky that my bank (I am in the UK) also has an mobile phone app.
